Summary of the Truly Agreed Version of the Bill

SB 275 -- DRIVER'S LICENSES

This bill allows the placement of a deaf or hearing-impaired
notation on driver's licenses.  Any deaf or hearing-impaired
person may apply to the Department of Revenue for the placement
of a "J88" notation on his or her driver's license, indicating
that the person is deaf or hearing impaired and uses alternative
communication.  The department may develop rules regarding cost,
criteria, and the submission of medical proof.
